Acrylic on canvas
24 x 24 in. Unframed
There are invisible forces at play all around us. Constantly. Like the weight of our planets gravity, trying tirelessly to glue us to the ground or the powerful pull of the moon on the ocean tides. Sometimes, for seemingly no reason at all, the pull of the moon lessens and the water sits calm and still, save for small ripples across its surface. This painting is my take on the glowing moonlight and the soft slivers of the sun peeking over the horizon, reflecting off the flowing undulations atop the vast expanse of the sea.
