This piece was created during my residency at Luna Studio in Austin, TX. It is named after my brother, who was 20 at the time this painting was created. He loves plants and nature and is constantly researching whatever topic he is interested in at the time. More than anything, he has always embodied the value and importance of bringing a unique and nuanced perspective to even the most rudimentary concepts, and that there is always more beneath the surface. The multiple layers of this painting embody the multifaceted and complex nature of the human condition.
