This painting was created during my residency at Luna Studios in Austin TX. The piece is named after my youngest brother, who was 19 at the time it was created. He is fiercely loyal and unwavering in his convictions. This painting reflects his resolve and determinations to fit within society while never compromising who he is. The colors densely placed sit atop a layer of fluid brush strokes like a forest of clouds powerfully looming above a flowing river creating a sense of perfect harmony. My brother is both the river and the clouds.
